Electrical Rm - Safety Code Requirements???

Electrical Rm - Safety Code Requirements???

Electrical Rm - Safety Code Requirements???

(OP)
I would like to install another outside door in a Penthouse Electrical room in our plant.

My concern with this is the chance of exposing the main air switch systems to outside elements. Also this will result in more traffic in the area.

Is there any regulation in the code book that identifies the entrance of electrical switch gear rooms and requirements that are to be adhered to?

Thanks for any input.

RE: Electrical Rm - Safety Code Requirements???

If you're using the NEC, try section 110.26C.

Mike
