Creating a dxf file from fluid channels simulated in ANSYS

(OP)
I have a colleague who is modeling fluid flow in channels using ANSYS.  We would like to take the channel systems and convert them to gerber files in order to have photoplots made. This requires that the initial design, consisting of channel outlines (a in attachment), is converted to a solid design, where the outlined channels have been filled in (b). As it stands, he is converting the .agdb file of the geometry to a .stp file. This file format is approachable through SolidWorks, which theoretically should allow a quick transfer to a .dfx drawing. This works, but only produces an outline of the channel designs, as was modeled. Is there anyway to fill the regions in prior to exporting?

Any help would be appreciated, as I have never worked with ANSYS and he has been unable to find a solution.

As a note, I have access to CleWin4 as a CAD program, which enables me to convert between dxf and gbr. The photoplot supplier requires gbr files.
