Testing In-Place Hardened Grout

Testing In-Place Hardened Grout

Testing In-Place Hardened Grout

(OP)
Does anyone know of an ASTM or ACI standard for testing in place hardened grout?  I was hoping there would be something similar to a Schmidt Hammer Test (Swiss Hammer Test).

RE: Testing In-Place Hardened Grout

What parameters are you trying to test?

Windsor Probe can be used for grout testing, but keep in mind that such methods ultimately require correlation to core or cylinder strengths to achieve reasonable accuracy.

Schmidt Hammer is essentially worthless for strength testing.  It's OK for consistency determination, but shouldn't be used for decisive compressive strength testing.
