Sketch Plane Auto Rotate Normal To

(OP)
When I start a new part and create the first feature the selected sketch plane is auto rotated to a normal view.  I like this feature and would like it to behave in a similar manner on subsequent feature creations.

I've looked through the options dialogs but haven't been able to find any setting for turning this on or off.  Does such an option exist in SW 2010?

RE: Sketch Plane Auto Rotate Normal To

As Dan said, there isn't an on/off switch for it. Would be nice, though. Enhancement request, perhaps?
You can set a hotkey, or 'Ctrl+8' will do it.

Thanks - for now I have setup the spacebar to do a "normal to" orientation.

RE: Sketch Plane Auto Rotate Normal To

Just so you know in the default configuration spacebar pops up an orientation dialog box which includes normal to.  I suggest using a different key.  I use the number pad as an unfolded box (search the forums) and use the period key on the pad for normal to.
