STACKED BALLOONS HOW TO

STACKED BALLOONS HOW TO

STACKED BALLOONS HOW TO

(OP)
I have found a way to stack ballons in Pro-e. It is really very simple just add RPT.QTY to your current balloon and set the text size to zero in the symbol, you now have a quantity balloon. Now you can stack and merge to your hearts content. But the advantage of using the RTP.QTY is that a lot of places want to have the quantity by the balloon. So by doing this if you merge ballons the quantity is parametrically linked to the acutual repeat quantity. So quantities in patterns can be shown easily when multiple balloons are added; you should be prompted for quantities as you add ballons in different areas i.e. for fasteners. So if you have 100 fasteners and add a second balloon to the same part number you are prompted for a quantity and this quantity is taken off the original number.
