Tube bundle expansion in Reboiler

Tube bundle expansion in Reboiler

Tube bundle expansion in Reboiler

(OP)
We are using a Kettle Type reboiler. I do not have much fabrication details of the boiler. I want to know how the expansion of tube bundle is accommodated in a Kettle type reboiler (heat exchanger). Any sample fabrication drawing may help me.
Are the baffles of tube bundle welded to shell ?
Actually we are facing tube leakage problem.

RE: Tube bundle expansion in Reboiler

In order to evaluate expansion, it needs to be known whether the reboiler has a straight tube or u-tube bundle.

The baffles shouldn't be welded to the shell.

RE: Tube bundle expansion in Reboiler

Can you get literature from the manufacturer?  I just checked out the internet and there was a lot of information on such boilers.
