AASHTO LRFD bridge design Spec 4th --> SI Version
AASHTO LRFD bridge design Spec 4th --> SI Version
(OP)
Does anyone know whether using this version would be sufficient for the SE exam?
I am 100% sure that it was good enough for the regular PE/structural exam, but i would like to know if I could simply use this version to study and take to the test with me
thanks

RE: AASHTO LRFD bridge design Spec 4th --> SI Version
When I sat for the exam, I used my AASHTO code to work out a glulam problem. I needed the manual just for the materials lookup, not the actual engineering. I did NOT sit for the SE exam (2 problems only, steel or concrete, building or bridge).
I'd suggest you get the English version of the code, to conserve exam time you'll spend flip-flopping between units.
Studying the code?? The only thing there would be to figure out where things are. By the time you get one edition studied, the next one (6th) will be out!
Good luck on the exam!

The question was simply getting a factor from a table
I have a practice exam for the SE, but i kinda don't wanna look through it until i am ready to really study. If i do that, i'll feel like i'm cheating myself.
