Novolastic Coating

Novolastic Coating

(OP)
Dear All,

I have a question regarding the novolastic type coating from FMC. I am working on a Project as Lead Coating engineer and my Cpy will be free issued with some production spools pre-assembled and coated with Novolastic system. Then we will need to perform some FJs between the straight parts.

Now, in my understanding the Novolastic material from FMC is not a very friendly material in the senses that only silicone sticks to silicon, i.e. only novolastic goes with novolastic and hence we will be forced to go with FMC for coating these joints.

Do you know if any other Supplier can apply a FJC system equivalent to Novolastic which can bond on the Novolastic itself applied on the straight parts?

Thanks!

Nicolò
