Hide Edges in Drawing View

Hide Edges in Drawing View

Hide Edges in Drawing View

(OP)
Quick question:
For the life of me I cannot remember how to hide the edge highlighted in the attached file.  I remember an option where I could select edges in a drawing view and hide them?

Thanks,
Chris

RE: Hide Edges in Drawing View

What you need to do is erase them

edit > view > view dependent edit > select view on drawing > erase object

RE: Hide Edges in Drawing View

Before you even start with your Drawing, may I suggest that you perform the following operation on the piece part itself in Modeling first.

Go to...

Insert -> Combine -> Join Face...

...and select the 'On Same Surface' option, select the part file and see if this removes the unwanted 'seam' in those faces.

BTW, those 'curves' look like an artifact from a system/operation which did not support 'periodic models', something which NX does but many other CAD systems do not.
