Viessmann ESOP

As I'm new here, first of all, hello.

I have been looking for information on the paid version of ESOP, but have been unable to find out what features it offers.

I particular can it cope with East West collector systems?

I presume it can handle multiple tank systems but if anyone uses this software, or can point me in the right direction to a website, it would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

Thank you for your reply.

Yes I have seen that summary, but I can't find any specific details, such as East West arrays, size of arrays etc.

I'll keep searching or mail Viessmann.

OK, just in case this is of use in the future to someone else.

ESOP comes in two flavours European and North American version. So obviously you need the correct one for the City where the project is situated.

It does not cover East - West systems, but this is not too much of a problem as the East and West arrays collect almost the same amount, just at different times of the day.

The direction the array is facing can be adjusted through 360 degrees. The inclination is adjustable also.

There is a limit of 10 Buffer tanks, which is enough for most systems, even with a solid fuel back-up boiler.

I will try to obtain a licence so I can have a play with covering some of the space heating with solar.

James
