Projecting complex pattern/ sketch onto Cylidrical surface

Projecting complex pattern/ sketch onto Cylidrical surface

(OP)
I am trying to create a silicone sleeve around a cylindrical bottle, the sleeve has a complex floral pattern cut into it.  I originally tried projecting each sketch onto the the bottle create a curve- it isn't projecting correctly.  I was able to extrude the pattern, and converted it to sheet metal (view attachment) to see if I could roll it in to the cylinder but can't seem to do that either- any tips or help would be very much apprecitated.

RE: Projecting complex pattern/ sketch onto Cylidrical surface

You should be able to apply a Sketch-Bend to the flat sheet metal part, or use the Wrap tool to wrap a sketch around a cylinder.

What version of SW are you using?
Can you post the SW part?

Also, look to the curves tool bar and help files for how to project a sketch. it operates a little differently than the wrap function.

I am using 2011; I will try the "wrap sketch tool" to see if that works, and I can post the part if that doesn't work...
