Does anyone have experience with the hydraulic (pumping) of mine ore. Specifically raisebore chips.

RE: hydraulic transport of ore

Check Warman Pumps (www.weirminerals.com). They are the experts for mining pumps.

Student question?

It is a capital mistake to theorise before one has data. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts. (Sherlock Holmes - A Scandal in Bohemia.)

Thanks for the response. I have already made contact with Wier. What I was looking for was maybe pointers from an actual installation. Layouts, problems or perhaps do's and donts. There seems to be many cases of permenant installations, we are looking for a kind of short term movable option. We are sinking longer and deeper and the "chips" are becoming the problem. The next raisebore will be 1000m x 6.1m, which gives about 500 tonnes per day. Our "normal" ore/waste route cant handle that amount for the next 200 days. Pumping seems to me the futere for these projects.
