what is the most important problems in reverse osmosis operation?
we must use a unit of reverse osmosis continuously or not?  membrane must be in wet and pressurized condition all of the time?

RE: reverse osmosis operation problems?

I believe the most popular type of problem in RO is scaling and fouling.

RE: reverse osmosis operation problems?

The best advice I can give you is to have the unit running continuously, even of there is no continuous need for the product water. If you have two parallel trains, then switch between them after 24 hours.

Stagnant (sea) water will destroy a lot of your equipment - that is the first thing to be avoided.
