Cable Tray Impedance

Cable Tray Impedance

Cable Tray Impedance

(OP)
Does anyone know of a reference showing how to calculate impedance of 600V cable in a flat configuration in cable tray, specifically the inductance?

RE: Cable Tray Impedance

But if you know effective impedance of cables why do you need to know more about?
I think that any book of distribution could help you a lot to study it more, they convert all values to secuence impedances

If there was no electricity there would be no internet. Good point, don´t you? :D

RE: Cable Tray Impedance

Because the cable configuration affects the mutal impedance and the grounded tray would affect the zero sequence and I haven't found in any book.

RE: Cable Tray Impedance

As customary in such cases is to use the effective impedance value for calculating the voltage drop

If there was no electricity there would be no internet. Good point, don´t you? :D

RE: Cable Tray Impedance

in any event that affects the type of installation is the maximum demand that can be applied to the feeder

If there was no electricity there would be no internet. Good point, don´t you? :D

It's for fault current calculation in the 70ka range so I think mutual impedance would have an effect.

RE: Cable Tray Impedance

you want calculate X/R value per leg, don't you?

If there was no electricity there would be no internet. Good point, don´t you? :D
