Is there a way to use the feature parameters dialog in drafting to call out a threaded hole when it is hidden in the view? Even when the tap drill hole is thru the piece but the thread is from the far side it doesn't not work....thx

RE: Feature parameters thread callout (drafting)

Try turning off Hidden Line Removal until after the thread callout is created.

Thanks John...that worked

RE: Feature parameters thread callout (drafting)

where is the Hidden Line Removal feature?

RE: Feature parameters thread callout (drafting)

In Drawing ...select the view...right click...Style...hidden lines tab...then uncheck Hidden lines

RE: Feature parameters thread callout (drafting)

There's also an option to keep objects visible that normally would be hidden by the hidden line function, -if there's an annotation attached.
I.e set hidden line= off. Add dimensions or other annotation to the hidden objects, set hidden line = on. ( maybe the setting should be dashed, not invisible)
Enable using the "Referenced edges only" under the Hidden lines tab.
