ASME code cases

ASME code cases

(OP)
We have been asked to conform to Code Case 1935 for a particular order. When trying to get hold of a copy, we have been asked "Do you want 1935-3 or 1935-4?"

Can somebody tell me if they are different revisions of the same document, or are they completely different documents?

Thanks

RE: ASME code cases

It seems 1935-4 is the latest version of code case 1935. Here is a description of 1935-4:

Revised Code Case 1935-3 to allow the continued use of UNS N06625 for water wetted service only. PG-9.2 & PG-27.4, Note (6) were revised to incorporate the use of Inconel 625 (UNS N06625) for steam service in Section I boilers under SB-443, SB-444, and SB-446.
