Hi

Is there any solotion you can share to "complete" emty the unloading hose between the truck and unloading pump after emty the truck, avoiding spillage (in this case acid) when disconnecting the hose.

Thanks

Gravity and a sloped line help, or keep the pump on a few more seconds.

Where I have seen acid and caustic offloaded from a truck, there is a little concrete sump (suitably coated) and a garden hose.

When the offload is complete, the garden hose dilutes the little bit of spillage.

There are guidelines available for sulfuric acid offload stations available from the vendors who sell the acid

The solution to pollution is dilution.

bleed valve?

Use nitrogen to blow the line to the tank.
The TODO connections work great also, though they are high dollar.

Running the pump a few seconds longer, and dilution + safety precautions in a concrete sump is what I've seen in practice.

I'm not sure if you can blow down an acid line with compressed air.

Well it's generally not a good idea to introduce gases into liquid lines at any time, or v/v.
