Steam Boiler Controller

Steam Boiler Controller

Steam Boiler Controller

(OP)
As an energy conservation measure, I am considering a controller to do some or all of the following functions.  This is for control of a 3HP steam boiler (15PSI max) for a steam room.  Currently boiler is controlled by pressuretrol, and steam is allowed into the room by manual operation of a gate valve.

1) Controller modulates a steam solenoid valve to maintain a user selectable temperature in the space.
2) Activating the controller results in the solenoid trying to control to target temperature for a period of 15 minutes, after which it turns off (stops letting any steam in), until activated again.
3) If no one has activated in 45 minutes, the steam boiler itself is allowed to pressure down, i.e. the normal pressuretrol range of 7 to 14 PSI will no longer attempt to be maintained.  The boiler will be allowed to drop down to as low as 0 PSI through thermal loss, until someone activates the controller again.

Potential suppliers of suitable controllers are requested, as well any commentary on code implications.  This is an LPG fired boiler.

Thank you very much
