Is it just me

Is it just me

Is it just me

is it just me or is the table on page 161 of the latest version of ASME Section IX for side bend test for welder's qualification confusing? or not well formatted?

Any explaination especially on the last (w) column with with of the rows overlapping and number too?

RE: Is it just me

mysarah,
'w' is the thickness of the bend coupon.

Thanks Weldtek,
I know it's the thickness of the coupon, I'm talking about the table, the width of the rows in the last column overlap to where you don't know the row to the left that they correspond to.

RE: Is it just me

Mysarah,
They don't correspond to the rows on the left.  The info under the heading 'w' stands alone.

RE: Is it just me

It's poorly formatted, but I don't see how it could be misinterpreted. It's been like that since at least 2001.
