SLC500 PID

(OP)
Hello.  I am trying to limit the PID controller output to a certain percentage.  I set the percentage, and selected "YES" to enable output limiting, but the PLC always defaults back to "NO" after the machinery has been shut down for the night.  How do I make the limit stay in place?  Thanks in advance.  Jerry

RE: SLC500 PID

best guess is that that when the PID qualifies in the program is where you need to put a move statement in to overwrite that parameter to the YES state.  If it is a YES then its maybe a booleen, so a "YES" latch bit would be the second guess.

I did not consult the manual for PID, so maybe you should do this for the correct parameter for the percentage.
