Calculating compression of cylindrical bushing.

Calculating compression of cylindrical bushing.

Calculating compression of cylindrical bushing.

(OP)

I was curious if someone can direct me in the right direction.  I am looking to predict the amount of compression/displacement of automotive cylindrical rubber bushing versus the load applied.  The load of course would be applied as a radial force from the center sleeve towards the outside of the bushing.

Thanks in advance.

RE: Calculating compression of cylindrical bushing.

You can use finite element method to analyse problem because it is nonlinear problem . You can't use  the analytical method to solve this problem.
