S/S voltage control methods reference

S/S voltage control methods reference

Hello All,

I am new to the power industry (embedded background) and in need of a good reference(s) that explain the control concepts of sub-station voltage control for a distribution network.

A reference that discusses OLTC's, LDC operation, and SVR's would be amazing!

Thank you for your help,
jdp

Wow... what a gold mine!  Thank you for the link.

I perused through the references, but are there any focused on voltage regulation control at the distribution level?

Thanks again,
jdp

The ABB (Westinghouse) T&D book probably has a fair amount.  You might also peruse the instruction manuals for LTC controllers, try Beckwith and SEL.

You might contact your local Cooper Power engineer.  They used to have some good technical guides on voltage regulation for distribution system.

You could also look in the RUS guides.
