Road roughness effect on dynamic loads

Road roughness effect on dynamic loads

(OP)
Hi,
I am looking for a way for measuring road roughness and its effect on the dynamic loads on vehicle suspension.
Is there a whole system for measuring both responses simultaneously?
Thank you,
Hesham

RE: Road roughness effect on dynamic loads

Yes. Measure wheel loads witha  a wheel force transducer, and the road profile with an inertial referenced set of laser height gauges.

The first bit is easy but expensive. The second bit is cheaper but more diffcult.

Cheers
