Website Forum for CAD Drafting Contractors

(OP)
I've seen websites out there for drafters working as contractors.  I can't find any now of course.  Not Craigslist.

The Reason why I'm asking is a friend of mine has been custom building homes for 40 years.

He's now specialized to cottage vacation homes.  He drafts everything by himself by hand.

He needs to a little pizazz to the hand sketches.

I figure a drafter can model a cottage in a fraction of the time from a fully detailed hand sketches.

any thought would be appreciated

You could go to a local reprographics company and ask there.

RE: Website Forum for CAD Drafting Contractors

Hi;

I have secured several contract cad assignments from Craigslist, in my opinion its an excellent place to look for work. Of course, depending on where you live and work, the local Craigslist might be different in terms of the scope of work available.

LinkedIn would be another place you could look, I see many recruiters trolling the CAD related forums there. You can also introduce yourself to managers from companies you would like to work for on LinkedIn.

Hope this helps
