CLSF output not writing sindle speed

CLSF output not writing sindle speed

Hi,
We are using the CLSF ouput to use our own postprocessor software.

We choose the CLSF_Advanced template because is the only "standard CLS" that writes the Spindle Speed.
The problem is that if there are several toolpaths with the same tool it only writes the spindle speed for the first toolpath.

Therefore, if the spindle speeds in this toolpaths are different between them, there is no way to recover it in the postprocessor step.

I've read something about the CLSF generator, how can we launch it?

Thanks,
Dani.

RE: CLSF output not writing sindle speed

Make sure you have the spindle speed check box active in every tool path.  You should only need the spindle speed at the start of the path after a tool change.  You can force a spindle speed on selected operation by adding a Extra spindle On ude or changing the current speed a small ammount.  If you want the system to force the spindle speed for each and every operation you will need to edit the tcl routine that outputs the .cls file.

Hi John and thanks for your answer.
I had already tried to do what you say and it did not run.

Anyway I thought I could try something similar and I have forced an extra tool change.
This time it did run correctly but it seems to me a little "hard" to do so in every tool path.

I can edit all toolpath strategies to do an extra tool change, but I think it will be easier to edit the tcl routine.

Have you got information of how to do that?

Thanks again,
Dani.

What are you running the .cls file through to get the posted code for the machine?
