CLSF output not writing sindle speed
CLSF output not writing sindle speed
(OP)
Hi,
We are using the CLSF ouput to use our own postprocessor software.
We choose the CLSF_Advanced template because is the only "standard CLS" that writes the Spindle Speed.
The problem is that if there are several toolpaths with the same tool it only writes the spindle speed for the first toolpath.
Therefore, if the spindle speeds in this toolpaths are different between them, there is no way to recover it in the postprocessor step.
I've read something about the CLSF generator, how can we launch it?
Thanks,
Dani.

I had already tried to do what you say and it did not run.
Anyway I thought I could try something similar and I have forced an extra tool change.
This time it did run correctly but it seems to me a little "hard" to do so in every tool path.
I can edit all toolpath strategies to do an extra tool change, but I think it will be easier to edit the tcl routine.
Have you got information of how to do that?
Thanks again,
Dani.

I had take a look at the tcl definition and I do not know if we can change it to force the spindle speed output...
Thanks John,
Dani.
