Sketcher Spline Modification?

Sketcher Spline Modification?

Sketcher Spline Modification?

(OP)
Hey All,

I don't know whats up, but its driving me nuts. When I create a spline curve tangent to construction lines at both ends, I can't seem to modify the spline curvature. It has always been the case that you just right click on the spline, hit modify, then click the tab with the spline control points on it and drag them around. Now, in WtF5.0, I can only drag the spline when there are no tangent constraints. The button usually used for this is inaccessible when there are previous constraints.

Any ideas whats going on? Thanks for any help.

RE: Sketcher Spline Modification?

Sometimes or always when you have dimensions to spline points this will conflict with or prevent creation of the control polygons that are generated to allow closer control of curvature.

You are usually notified when a condition like this happens and be prompted to auto remove the dimensions. You can try making some reference but other weak dims may get added and cause the same problem. Weak dimensions always violate restraining orders. Maybe they are not so weak after all.

Quote (ModifySpline):

Strong Dimension(s) associated with the spline are preventing the control polygon from being created.
/!\
Do you want to delete the strong dimension(s)
and create the control polygon?
