EN equivelants of ASTM pipe and fittings

(OP)
Hi,

We are embarking on a project for a client where we are working to the EN123445 code and PED 97/23/EC. However, our client requires us to use EN grade materials and will not accept ASTM grades such as A333 GR 6 pipe, A350 LF2 flanges and A420 WPL-6 End caps - basically low temp, impact tested Carbon Steel. We know these are acceptable to EN13445 and PED but are really struggling to work out the equivalent EN grades.

Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

For fittings see EN 10253-2
For forgings see EN 1022-2 and-3
For pipes see EN 10216-3 and-4

RE: EN equivelants of ASTM pipe and fittings

Have you looked to this document on the ASME website:

Comparison of ASME Specifications and European Standards for Mechanical Testing of Steels for Pressure Equipment

http://files.asme.org/asmeorg/codes/9383.pdf

Hope this would help.

And for flanges see:
EN 1092-1 (PN based flanges)
EN 1759-1 (Class based flanges)
