Losing Dimensions when saving as dxf

Losing Dimensions when saving as dxf

Losing Dimensions when saving as dxf

(OP)
I'm working on a interface/footprint drawing based on a very large model.

It is an existing drawing (.dft), that we've successfully saved as dxf before.

I've added a few extra dimensions, balloons and edited a couple of existing dimensions to have dual dimension display.

For some reason now when I save as dxf, and then open it using either SE or a viewer, the new dimensions don't show, however the edited dimensions and the added balloons show up just fine.

I checked to see if it was an issue with the layers they were on, but they're on the same layer as the existing dims.

I had a quick look at the 'save as dxf' options but again didn't see anything.

Any ideas?

I'm on V19 if it makes a difference.

Thanks.

RE: Losing Dimensions when saving as dxf

I do quite a bit of safe as DXF, and have not run into this problem yet.
I will ask around the office and see if anyone else has an issue.

RE: Losing Dimensions when saving as dxf

I am going to assume that the model and view are both up to date...
If not, that could cause the new dimensions not to transfer to dxf.

The views are up to date.

The model is massive with various sub assy's write protected and it is showing out of date.  However I'm pretty sure I had the model open in another window of the same session so it was showing up to date on the drawing.

Thanks
