HYDRAULIC SLIDE RULE

HYDRAULIC SLIDE RULE

(OP)
Does anybody know where I can purchase a hydraulic slide rule which would allow easy checking of friction losses, and velocities thro' various pipe types and diameters? We have one only in our office, but it dates back some time and we cannot find out where it came from! They are very handy when carrying out quick pipe size checks during initial design. Metric is preferred....can anyone help me?

RE: HYDRAULIC SLIDE RULE

ITT Bell&Gossett has a System Syzer Calculator.  Also Mear of Hunter Associates has a Water flow calculators. ITT B&G is for pipes in laminar flow.  MearĀ“s Calculator is for pipes, ducts, sewers an open channels.
