controling number of decimals in equation

controling number of decimals in equation

controling number of decimals in equation

(OP)
I've created an area calculation equation to project on drawings sheet for every sheet metal part ... but the problem is that I can't find a way to control the number of decimals as sometimes the value show 7 digits after 0.

Thanks,

RE: controling number of decimals in equation

round([all the rest of your equation],[the number of places you want after the decimal])

-handleman, CSWP (The new, easy test)

Thanks ... I tried your formula but it's not working

here's my equation if you can elaborate:
"Area"= ("SW-Volume" / "Thickness" ) * 0.00694444444

RE: controling number of decimals in equation

Does the curley brackets enclosing the significant figures work in notes? {3}
