 I searched for this subject with multiple text subjects, and I get no results.

Did you mean slag or sag? If it is slag,reasons are different and if sag or bend,then the response will be different. Please clarify. Your providing more details like alloy,parts to be cast,weight of each and number of pieces etc might help in getting more meaningful response.
