DPV Files.

DPV Files.

DPV Files.

(OP)
Does any one know if its possible / how i could generate a DPV (drafting standard) from an existing part for NX6 or NX7.5.

we have 'inherited' a lot of external customers parts for a specific project, and need to be able to match the standard.

If i have to, i can interrogate every setting, but wondered if there was an easier way.

Cheers,

NXj

RE: DPV Files.

delete all the geometry in the file and use the part as a template file. part already has the settings you want so use it as a template.

Also, be sure your customer defaults are set to use the settings from the template file instead of your set standard. In NX6, that option is in 'Drafting -> General -> Drawing tab'.
