I have a version 2000 file that crashes with the message "out of memory". Have tried the usual things such as recovery and increasing memory page size but all to no avail.
can anyone help?

I can't give you a definitive answer to your experience without more information.

I hope you are running your computer system with as much RAM as it can hold!  When running CAD programs this is the best thing to do, RAM is cheap right now.

You may also have another program trying to open the same file simultainiously which could also be causing this Error message to appear.
