saltwater proof potting compound

(OP)
Hi all,

I'm looking for a potting compound that will withstand saltwater immersion. Can anyone recommend a manufacturer? or can I just go with Digi-key's off the shelf material?

RE: saltwater proof potting compound

You may also want to look at silicone's from people like Nusil or
3m.  Silicone is used on a lot of underwater equipment.   Dymax offers a some good UV cured materials.  Depending on your configuration you maybe able to use a Marine Caulk like the #M 5200.  Jamestown Distributors has list of the many caulk and adhesives.  Again depending on your application you maybe able to use a ceramic potting compound.
