ST3 and NX7.5
ST3 and NX7.5
(OP)
Hi,
If I am right :
S/E ST3 is using parasolid V23
NX 7.5 is using parasolid V22.1
So S/E ST3 is able to read NX 7.5 but the opposite is not possible
My question is: when the opposite will be available ? 7.5.3 or 8.0

RE: ST3 and NX7.5
And as you may have already speculated, the next FULL version of NX will be based on PS V23.1.
Now if Solid Edge can perform an explicit 'export' of a Parasolid model, as NX allows you to do, the SE users should have the option to select the PS version they wish to do the export in, as NX allows you to do. That will probably be only way that to get an model created using SE ST3 into NX 7.5 without having to resort to using a neutral file scheme, such as IGES/STEP.

RE: ST3 and NX7.5
OK, I know that but what about the interoperability between S/E and NX ?
For me it's a nonsense to have 2 softwares developped by siemens with parasolid version not in phase !!!

RE: ST3 and NX7.5
I found a good information:
Even S/E ST3 is using Parasolid V23 and NX7.5 is using parasolid V22.1, It's possible to open ans S/E ST3 part in NX. But it works only from NX7.5.2 and not from NX7.5.0
