Solid Edge ST3 sketching

Solid Edge ST3 sketching

It seems to me that sketching in ST3 is more difficult than it was in V20.  I liked how in V20 when sketching you could quickly and easily select a sketch plane that was coincident, angled, parallel, perpendicular, etc to something.  Is there some way to easily start a sketch in ST3 on a plane parallel to an existing face, some distance from it?

RE: Solid Edge ST3 sketching

Are you using Ordered or Synchronous?

I'm using synchronous.  I figured out how to get a parallel plane, but how about angled, perpendicular, etc?  It was just a couple of clicks in V20, so it must not be as difficult as it seems!

Thanks.
