(OP)
Is anyone familiar with a type of equipment called an isoquenser. This is shown on a12.5 kV schematic of a commercial system.  This appears to be a three phase protective device (12.5 kV) used on moderate sized distribution transformer banks and three phase padmounted transformers stepping down from 12.5 kV to 120/240, 120/208 and 277/480 volts. Transformer range sizes range from 3-100 kVA (300 kVA) to 1000 kVA. The age of this device is unknown. Thanks for any assistance.

RE: isoquenser

An isoquenser is a primary switch. The ones
I've seen were used in place of a main switch required by the NEC.
There was a primary fuse mounted on the switch that was sized for the transformer. This is old technology.
