Precast concrete segmental tunnels in soft ground

(OP)
Has anyone recently designed a precast concrete segmental tunnel using the Curtis Equations to determine moments and hoop loads in the tunnel ring? If so, have you used Peck's correction for the number of segments? What figure have you used in the Peck correction for the term Ij (Moment of inertia at the joint)? Have you used zero or some value relating to the stiffness of the building bolts?

Any thoughts gratefully received.
