Solidworks 2011 SP 2.0 (x64) Simulation issue

(OP)
Hi, New to the forum and really like the layout. Let me introduce myself. My name is Matt and I am in the IT department at my engineering firm.
Anyway, to my issue; we are trying to run a simple Simulation Xpress analysis on a structure at my firm in SolidWorks 2011, but have been unsuccessful. We have 2010 on the same machine and the same part modeled in 2010 works fine no issues. Now when we are in 2011 we get as far as the progress bar for the Solver, and all of the sudden we get and error that STAR has stopped working and has shut down. We have been unsuccessful multiple times, and have yet to get Xpress to work in 2011 on any type of part file. Not sure why it would work in 2010 and not 2011, any ideas?
