Area selection is not working

Area selection is not working

Area selection is not working

(OP)
In NX5, I have always been able to select using the multi-select rectangle. Just recently I noticed that its not working, when I drag a window around some solids to select them, it should select everything that is included in the window. For some reason it doesn't select anything, though when I go and click on the individual pieces I am able to select with no problem...Not sure where this setting could have been changed. Any help?

RE: Area selection is not working

Make sure that your selection filter is set to "no selection filter"

Yes, its set to "No Selection Filter" and also I am able to select items individually.

RE: Area selection is not working

Preferences > Selection preferences > make sure the top two are set to what you want them to be, on mine they are set to "rectangle" and "inside"

I am on NX6, but I assume it is the same as NX5

That's what it was. Forgot to look there. Thanks.
