List all references between Assembly, Drawing and Part Files

List all references between Assembly, Drawing and Part Files

(OP)
Over the decade, our small team has produced some ~10K or so Pro/E assembly, drawing and part files in WF2.  We store them in a crude repository mapped to a local directory structure.  Repository maintenance has not been our priority, so we have many part files not in assemblies or drawings - often with nasty names like "SPRING_.PRT" or "ASM0001.ASM".  It's messy.

Is anyone aware of tools, whether PTC or otherwise, that will recurse a directory structure and list all of the references between specific ASM, PRT, and DRW files?  Such a tool might also list duplicates as well as parts NOT in any drawings or assemblies?  I'm curious if anyone else has this kind of maintenance problem and what the solutions are.

Hi dgallup,

Thanks for the tip, I had not seen this one before!  I'd still like something that looks at ALL files, but this will get me started and is better than loading and doing >Info on every assembly.  Thanks.
