Huisman,

A few questions we will need to help you along:

1. Are you using AWS D1.1?

2. Was your test coupon a CJP? or PJP?

3. Pipe diameter and thickness used in WPS qualification test?

In D1.1, there is a very important "supplementary" variable in Table 4.6.  Base Metal 2) -- Minimum thickness qualified is 5/8" (16mm) whichever is less, except if T is less than 1/4" (6mm), then the minimum thickness qualified is 1/8" (3mm).

RE: 6GR Thickness and diameter Qualfied,& PJP and Fillet weld CVN test

Should be -- Minimum thickness qualified is T or 5/8" (16mm) whichever is less...

RE: 6GR Thickness and diameter Qualfied,& PJP and Fillet weld CVN test

I think he's asking about table 4.2 and note d.

RE: 6GR Thickness and diameter Qualfied,& PJP and Fillet weld CVN test

Yes, 4.2 and note d applies, but is further restricted by Table 4.6, Base Metal, 2).

Huisman, I do not understand what 108*8/13 means.  108mm OD X 8mm Wall Thickness, but 13mm??
