RE: all about transit sheds/transhipment sheds

What exactly does your prof want you to research on? Transit sheds
or transshipment sheds are warehouses adjacent to the berth or
quay where materials are stored. These could be
(a) materials offloaded from ships waiting to be loaded on land
transport (trucks, trains),
OR (b) materials offloaded from land transport waiting to be
loaded on to ships.
Does your prof want you to determine structural design criteria,
or determination of size or material handling requirements Or
something else? You can get help from text books on Port
& Harbour engineering - Per Bruun, Gaithwaite etc.
