Schenck CAB690 monitor issue

Schenck CAB690 monitor issue

(OP)
Hello
We have a Schenck CAB690 balance machine (1988. The CRT monitor is on its last legs (the image is getting faint) and needs to be replaced. The problem is the video input is a DE-9 (nine pin in a standard VGA shell).

Anyone with any suggestions?  Schenck has quoted a new monitor, case for monitor and related cabling... for $4,500.00 Ca, Hoping for some other options..

Thanks for your time.

How big is it? Is it a color monitor? I probably have a few EGA monitors kicking around someplace, but I bet others do too.

Thanks Tmoose
The monitor is probably 15". The CAB690 outputs 2 colors, yellow and green.
If replacing the monitor is the solution.. is that what I am looking for.. an EGA monitor?
I have passed the quote to my bosses... let's see what they do with it, perhaps this will induce them to upgrade the whole system..
