Can PVelite runs Windows 7 Premiuim Edition 64bit ?

Thank you for your time.

RE: PVelite 2008 installation

Most likely not;- the 2008 edition of PV Elite is no longer supported by Coade / Intergraph, hence they have not reviewed the internal software for compatibility with Window 7. Nevertheless, you should try installing it, but you'll never know the problems (if any) are from the Windows 7 or the PV Elite is too old.
Cheers,

Thanks for your time. How about codeware compress 6258 does it runs to win7 premium 64bit?

I don't have newer versions of PVelite and codeware.

RE: PVelite 2008 installation

Mmm...Must be a country where there are no copyright laws.

You should ask TomBarsh in the COMPRESS Users Group on this fora.  I'm sure he'll be happy to hear from you.

Couldn't the OP have bought legitimate copies of the software in 2008 and in 2011 bought a new computer?

RE: PVelite 2008 installation

Hi Solidengg,

I think the program PV Elite 2008 is compatible with Windows 7 but you may need to install the latest HASP Drivers. There were some issues with the HASP drivers when Windows 7 came out.

RE: PVelite 2008 installation

Absolutely.  But if the software were fully paid for and under current license, wouldn't the producer of said software(s) be the best resource for answering the OP's question?

Seems curious to me is all.

That is an assumption that is not justified at all for asking this question on the forum. But you are correct, the OP should ask directly to the producer of the software.
