Leveling existing girder in house

(OP)
I want to level the first floor by jacking up the eneven girder in  the basement. Any rcommendations on best ways to achieve this?

RE: Leveling existing girder in house

From your question I would guess that you are unfamiliar with this type of work.  I would need a GREAT deal more information about this project before I could reccommend anything, aside from HIRING A QUILIFIED PERSON or company to do the work. There is usually a bit more to it than throwing a jack under it.
