Change Caps to lower case in word on Mac

Can anyone tell me how to change a sentence in caps to lower case without retyping the whole thing... i have tried a few things on an earlier thread i read here however none worked and i wonder if this is because i am using word for mac.

RE: Change Caps to lower case in word on Mac

You could copy and paste it into Excel and use the lower() function.

Assuming Excel for Mac has a lower() function.

There is a button for that under the fonts ribbon with "Aa" on it.  Click and you will get all the options for upping and lowering.

I have tried the "Aa" button but it only works if you have typed in lower case and want to convert to Caps... not the other way round and i find what usually happens is i type away forgetting the caps lock is on then have to re-type...
Thanks anyway.
