Infiltation rate for D.W.F formula

Infiltation rate for D.W.F formula

(OP)
Hello

I am designing a hypothetical wastewater treatment plant for a particular town. In calculating the flow coming into the plant i am using the Dry Weather Flow formula PQ+I+E. I = infiltration rate (litres/day) yet i do not know how to work this out.
I assume that there is a average value per person depending on the type of town it as it concerns the run off from pavements, roofs etc that are impermeable surfaces yet i cannot find a value for this in any literature just a explanation of what it is.

RE: Infiltation rate for D.W.F formula

There is not standard DWF formula since most municipal wastewater collections systems are unique to the municipality.
