NEC(NFPA 70E)study materials suggestions?
(OP)
Hello,
I'm an electrical site engineer. I'm thinking if I need a NEC booklet with me to check the electrical construction quality, for example: wiring, tubing and grounding method. However most NEC booklet only with words but no any illustrations/fiqures to show the quality inspection point.
Since that, I need some recommedations to NEC study methods and study materials. Thank you.

I recommend purchasing the NEC Handbook published by NFPA. It's a lot more than a booklet, but has a lot of illustrations, photos and contains the complete NEC text.
If you're looking for something small enough to carry around with you, this isn't it, however.
Don't worry, the electrical inspector will provide a great education!

We use necplus.org here in the office and it comes in very handy.

However you need to know the date of the design contract that applies to the construction projects; and any similar issues applicable to the local regulations. For example a project may be under construction based upon the 2008 NEC not the 2011. Some local inspectors fall within even older requirements. Still the latest version can be very important even for inspection discussions at a current construction site.
