Sheet metal bend

Sheet metal bend

Hello, i would like to bend that model so it will look like model will end up nice, by the blue line. Can anyone help me? Thank you.

Hello, and thanks for replies.
Apple your method won`t work because radius differs here, in the left part from the right part, and weevoe, if i try jog i receive an error.

RE: Sheet metal bend

Can you explain further why the model supplied by applejack2 won't work?

What is the error you receive when using the Jog method?

applejack2 didn`t use jog, he just build the sketch and used sheetmetal on it.
Correct ... he was showing you a simple and logical alternative way to create the part.

You are probably receiving that error message because you have no gap between the overlapping faces. A tiny gap must exist or the model will attempt to merge the legs.

RE: Sheet metal bend

you can change the radius for each individual bend, here's how...

on my part file, in the feature tree:
expand base-flange1
right click baseflange1
edit feature
uncheck use default radius
enter desired radius
click green checkmark
repeat for baseflange2
